An 'Outstanding' Secondary School in the Borough of Westminster is seeking a dedicated Art Teacher / Art ECT for a permanent, full-time position starting in January 2025. The successful candidate will join a supportive SLT and contribute to an expanding Art Department.

The School is committed to setting new teaching practices and training its staff. Experienced Art Teachers can take on TLRs such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility, and more. Newly Qualified Art Teachers (ECTs) will be enrolled onto the School's bespoke ECT induction and work alongside a range of young & experienced Art Teachers.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  1. Art Teacher / Art ECT
  2. Inspire and motivate students in the visual arts
  3. Collaborate with a team of Art Teachers
  4. TLR Opportunities: KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
  5. ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, in & out of house training, and more
  6. Full Time & Permanent
  7. Located in the Borough of Westminster
PERSON SPECIFICATION
  1. Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
  2. Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
  3. Must meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
  4. You must be able to work as part of a large team of Art Teachers
  5. Must be willing to listen to feedback
