The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to support the development and commercialization of our wind farm inspection and monitoring (I&M) strategy. As a Solution Owner - Offshore Wind Inspection and Monitoring, you will play a key role in establishing Fugro as a leading service provider in the operations and maintenance market.
Sector Expertise and Collaboration
You will work closely with colleagues, clients, and industry counterparts to monitor the offshore wind I&M market and identify opportunities for Fugro to support the operational phase of the wind farm life cycle. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing Fugro's I&M solution portfolio for offshore wind, based on the mapping, modeling, and monitoring of wind farm sites.
Solution Portfolio Development
You will lead the development and implementation of Fugro's I&M solution portfolio for offshore wind, leveraging your knowledge of offshore wind I&M regimes, associated technologies, and methods. You will engage with colleagues, clients, and industry counterparts to establish a market-leading position and reputation for Fugro as a trusted advisor and delivery partner.
Innovation and Technology Support
You will support the development of new I&M-related technologies and methods to inspect wind farm assets both above and below the waterline. You will leverage a global network of technical experts and delivery professionals to turn ideas into reality by introducing new products and services to the market and enabling their global adoption.
Market Authority and Strategy
As a Solution Owner, you will be our market authority for offshore wind I&M, representing both the fixed bottom and floating sectors. You will drive the roadmap and strategy for our offshore wind I&M solution, ensuring that Fugro remains at the forefront of the industry.
Requirements
- A Degree in a relevant engineering or business discipline
- Comprehensive operational or technical industry expertise
- Experience in the offshore wind industry - ideally from positions within a wind farm operator, major component manufacturer, maintenance contractor, or supplier such as Fugro
- Broad knowledge of offshore wind I&M regimes, associated technologies, and methods, client needs, and supply chain capabilities
- A track record of innovation and driving change, especially with regards to emerging technologies such as autonomous or remote operations and data management
- Leadership experience within a global and geographically dispersed organization
- The ability to proactively engage with industry peers and build relationships at all levels (both within and beyond Fugro)
