About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic People Partner to join our team at Northumbrian Water. As a key member of our People function, you will play a critical role in delivering our people strategy, working closely with senior business stakeholders to drive business outcomes and improve colleague engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic people partnering to a number of our business directorates, working in partnership with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify, shape, align and drive operational and strategic people priorities.
- Deploy core talent and reward activity for your business areas, along with supporting the development of a talent pipeline to satisfy short-term demands and long-term strategic workforce plans.
- Work with leaders at all levels within the business area, advising and coaching, and utilising the skills and knowledge of our People Centres of Expertise.
- Shape your approach based upon issues highlighted through our colleague survey and other feedback received, ensuring that the culture is welcoming, providing the right level of challenge and support, to enable strong wellbeing and inclusion in line with Northumbrian Water's values.
About You
We are looking for a CIPD Qualified, experienced HR professional with a track record of engaging, challenging and influencing at all levels within a business organisation. You will have proven experience of developing new programmes and monitoring the impact/evaluating existing ones, along with experience of workforce planning, including managing talent development and talent mobility.
