About the Position:

Austin Fraser is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Support Professional to join our team, providing specialized support to students with diverse special educational needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement tailored support plans, working closely with teachers and other professionals to promote academic achievement and social growth.
  2. Support students during lessons, helping them to access the curriculum and participate fully in class activities, while also addressing any additional needs they may have.
  3. Offer one-to-one guidance and mentoring to students with personal care and Social Emotional needs, empowering them to reach their full potential and build resilience.
  4. Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to take ownership of their learning and become active participants in their own education.

Essential Requirements:

  • A deep passion for supporting students with special educational needs, driving innovation and excellence in this field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK, demonstrating a clear commitment to this field.
  • Proficiency in English Language, essential for communicating effectively with students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • The right to work in the UK, allowing seamless integration into our team.
