Job Title: Health and Social Care Internal Verifier / IQA

KM Recruitment, a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors, is seeking an experienced professional to work in a dynamic team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to focus on the internal verification and quality assurance of Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Standards, up to Level 5.

The successful candidate will support a team of Health and Social Care Assessors, developing and implementing Quality Improvement Plans to drive continuous quality improvement and outstanding teaching and learning.

Estimated Salary: £31,000 + Fantastic Benefits Package

About the Opportunity:

This permanent, full-time position requires a skilled professional with expertise in internal verification and quality assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a team of assessors and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Internal Verification / Quality Assurance of Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Standards, to Level 5.
  • Support a team of Health and Social Care Assessors.
  • Develop, plan and execute Quality Improvement Plans, driving and promoting continuous quality improvement and outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Conduct regular standardisation meetings, as well as observations of teaching and learning.
  • Ensure the timely achievement of learners.
  • Update and maintain sampling plans in line with company and awarding organisations requirements.
Essential Criteria:
  • Mandatory experience working as an IQA for Health and Social Care Apprenticeships, up to Level 5.
  • Hold a recognised Internal Quality Assurance award (D34, V1, IQA, TAQA L4).
  • OCCUPATIONAL COMPETENCY IN CARE AT MANAGEMENT LEVEL REQUIRED.
  • Ideally hold own NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle required.
  • Flexibility with travel is essential.
