Your Role

You will lead the IRL Programme, ensuring feasibility, scope, plan, and execution are aligned with our strategy. This includes delivering new store openings, wholesale partnerships, and business optimisation projects. You'll manage a team of project managers, responsible for the leadership, management, and successful delivery of strategic change and value-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the IRL Head of Programme, you'll lead the IRL Programme and Strategy across all regions, bringing together delivery functions from various departments.
  • You'll manage the IRL Programme team, supporting their onboarding and development within the organisation.
  • You'll scoping, defining, and managing overall objectives, deliverables, work packages, and tasks across the Global Programme.
  • You'll plan, monitor, and manage a team to deliver a complex, x-functional programme simultaneously, from start to finish.
  • You'll maintain and administer programme plans, including the critical path, risks, issues, dependencies, and budget.
  • You'll identify, manage, mitigate, and/or escalate programme-level risks that threaten Retail, IRL, or the wider business.
  • You'll report programme progress against success metrics to stakeholders and business leadership through regular, accurate reporting.
  • You'll act as the key point of contact for the IRL programme.

Accountabilities

  • Ownership and management of the IRL Programme, ensuring activities are aligned across all workstreams and delivered on-time and to-budget.
  • Realization of all Programme outcomes and benefits, as defined by the IRL Programme.
  • Ownership of Programme objectives, deliverables, and framework.
  • Prompt and effective resolution of issues; assessment and management of risk.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience of Programme management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. At least 10 years' change delivery experience, including global retail projects.
  • Solid experience of managing a Programme team and mentoring.
  • Change-native, with evidence of successfully delivering complex, x-functional projects as part of large-scale, transformational programmes of work.
  • Experience designing, building, and delivering complex projects with high levels of business change and sustainable embedding into BAU.
  • Experience in managing projects with multiple internal and external work streams.
  • Solution-orientated mindset with an ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity.
  • Effectively managed project budgets, owning and facilitating related decisions.
  • People-first mindset with vast experience in people management (matrix/dotted line).
  • Proficient with office and project management software (MS Project).
  • Proficient with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Agile, with a thorough understanding of techniques and methodology.
