About the Role

As a Panel Technician at Steer Automotive Group, you will play a vital role in our team by:

  • Expertly repairing and replacing vehicle panels using advanced techniques and equipment.
  • Assessing vehicle damage and developing effective, efficient repair plans.
  • Ensuring seamless integration of new panels and parts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Delivering high-quality repairs and finishes that consistently exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborating with your team to meet deadlines and uphold our high standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a Panel Technician, Panel Beater, or in a similar role within the automotive repair industry.
  • Strong knowledge of panel repair techniques, including welding, filling, and finishing.
  • Proficiency with relevant tools and equipment, including those used for panel beating and spray painting.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for achieving top-notch results.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications (such as ATA, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
