Key Responsibilities:
  • Sage Processing: Manage and process all sales and purchase ledger transactions through Sage, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Bank Transactions: Handle posting bank transactions and bank reconciliation, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Stock Control: Transfer data from Linnworks to Sage, utilizing your analytical skills to ensure seamless integration.
  • Transaction Management: Oversee numerous mini transactions for various companies within our group, demonstrating your ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Expense Management: Run expenses for the field sales team and manage credit card reconciliations, showcasing your organizational skills.
  • Currency: Work in a multi-currency environment, utilizing your adaptability and willingness to learn.
Requirements:
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, particularly in V-lookups and pivot tables, to analyze and present data effectively.
  • Sage Experience: Familiarity with Sage software and its applications in accounting and finance.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data inputting and reconciliations, ensuring the integrity of our financial records.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work on varied tasks, including inter-company accounts and internal management, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to learn.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset, with a strong ability to work closely with our Accounts Manager and team members.
  • Retail Accounting: Background in retail accounting, especially with third-party sellers like Amazon and eBay, a plus.
  • Qualifications: AAT level 3 and above, or equivalent experience, preferred but not essential.
  • Discretion: Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner, upholding our company's values.
  • Driving: Essential to have a car and a valid driving license, due to the rural location of our offices.
