Chartered Building Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to join our busy and expanding Building Consultancy team in Kettering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering all facets of project and professional-based building surveying work.

• Pre-acquisition building surveys
• Schedules of condition
• Preparation and negotiation of schedule of dilapidations
• Preparation of schedules of works
• Project management
• CDM
• Assessment of rebuild cost for insurance purposes
• Planned maintenance programmes
• Party Wall Awards

• Experience in commercial property building surveying
• Understanding of residential surveys desirable
• Essential criteria include experience in pre-acquisition building surveys, schedules of condition, preparation and negotiation of schedule of dilapidations, preparation of schedules of works, project management, CDM, assessment of rebuild cost for insurance purposes, planned maintenance programmes, and party wall awards
• Valid driver's license and use of a vehicle prior to starting work
• RICS Registered Building Surveyor with post-qualification experience
