Job Overview

As a Community Fundraising Coordinator at Diabetes UK, you will be the primary point of contact for individuals and groups fundraising in their community for our charity. Your role will involve providing exceptional support and guidance to help them achieve their fundraising goals and become lifelong supporters of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a portfolio of community fundraisers, ensuring they receive a high-quality experience and achieve their fundraising targets.
  • Work closely with the wider Community Fundraising team to provide administrative support and contribute to the development of fundraising strategies and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with community fundraisers, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on fundraising best practices, event planning, and donor engagement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives that align with Diabetes UK's strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service and support in a charity or fundraising environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Passion for fundraising and a commitment to supporting the mission and values of Diabetes UK.
