We are seeking an experienced and passionate Fundraising and Marketing Officer to support our work at Young Carers Development Trust. This role will play a crucial part in delivering our business strategy, focusing on fundraising growth and increasing the charity's profile.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships to secure significant income and develop new partnerships with trusts, foundations, local communities, businesses, and individuals. They will bring in regular and targeted income through grants, events, regular donations, and online short-term fundraising campaigns.
The Fundraising and Marketing Officer will support our fundraising activities through targeted marketing, including online awareness campaigns, regular newsletters, and developing relationships with press and media.
This role is divided into two main areas: fundraising and marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Securing significant income from a variety of sources, including trusts, events, individuals, and businesses.
- Raising the charity's profile and growing our supporter base through our website, social media, press, and media.
