VOICES is an independent Domestic Abuse charity based in Bath, dedicated to providing specialist long-term, survivor-led, trauma-informed recovery support.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising and Development Manager to join our team. This role will be instrumental in supporting our growth and development, working closely with the CEO to help secure the long-term future of VOICES.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to expand and diversify our income generation.
  • Identify and pursue grant and trust opportunities, as well as community fundraising, charity shop, and social enterprise initiatives.
  • Work closely with the CEO to develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy to increase community awareness of VOICES.
  • Collaborate with the Lived Experience Group(s) to ensure that our fundraising efforts are survivor-led and trauma-informed.
Requirements
  • Relevant sector experience and a good understanding of fundraising principles.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of grants and trusts fundraising.
  • Ability to work in a trauma-informed way and a commitment to survivor-led principles.
  • Strong marketing and communications skills, with experience of social media and community engagement.
