Job DetailsProject Sustainability Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Sustainability Advisor to join our sustainability team. This individual will provide critical support to our Civil Engineering projects in the north of England, ensuring environmental compliance and sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have up to 3 years of environmental experience, a relevant degree, and/or professional qualification. They will also possess strong organisational, communication, influencing, and engagement skills, with the ability to problem-solve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide sustainability and environmental advice to project teams, including delivery of appropriate training.
  • Conduct site inspections, maintain environmental compliance, and assist with external audits and the application for, completion, and implementation of environmental consents and permits.
  • Identify and communicate environmental and sustainability risks and opportunities on our projects.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of sustainability management reports for internal and client reporting.
  • Assist in the maintenance and review of the sustainability management system.
  • Assist in providing sustainability input to tenders and project mobilisation.
  • Participate in working groups and initiatives to help deliver against our 2030 Sustainability Roadmap.
