Job Title: Enrichment Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enrichment Officer to join our Student Services team at Carshalton College. As an Enrichment Officer, you will play a key role in developing, delivering, and coordinating a range of enrichment activities that support students to build resilience, stay safe, and develop employability, personal, and social skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver enrichment programs that engage high numbers of students and promote student success.
  • Work with colleagues to plan, coordinate, and deliver activities that support students' needs and issues.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for students to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Collaborate with external organizations to develop enrichment opportunities and promote student participation.
  • Use initiative and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
Requirements:
  • Qualification to Level 3 or above in an appropriate area (Youth & Community, Education, Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care, or IAG).
  • Experience of working with young people aged 16-19 years from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Ability to engage with high numbers of students and promote student participation.
  • Working knowledge of barriers to participation and how to increase participation within an educational environment.
