About the Role:

The Enrichment Officer will lead on developing, delivering, planning, and coordinating a range of enrichment activities with high levels of engagement. This will involve working with others to provide a program that supports students to build resilience, stay safe, and develop employability, personal, and social skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver enrichment activities that promote student engagement and participation.
  • Work with colleagues to plan and coordinate enrichment programs that meet the needs of students.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them build resilience and develop employability, personal, and social skills.
  • Collaborate with external organizations to develop enrichment opportunities that benefit students.
  • Use initiative and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to Level 3 or above in an appropriate area (Youth & Community, Education, Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care, or IAG).
  • Experience of working with young people aged 16-19 years old from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Understanding of the needs and issues surrounding young people and the difficulties they face.
  • Experience of planning, coordinating, and delivering activities for young people in an educational setting.
  • Able to engage with high numbers of young people to support them to engage with activities.
