Children's Community Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Children's Nurse to join our team as a Band 5 Children's Community Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality clinical research studies.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with the Women's and Children's Research Unit, supporting Principal Investigators in the setup and delivery of clinical trials and non-interventional NIHR portfolio trials. The post holder will be based in the Education Centre but will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust, overseen by the Paediatric Research Sisters.
Main Responsibilities- Support the safe conduct of all research, including clinical trials, in accordance with regulatory and legal frameworks.
- Work with clinical staff to educate them on the specifics of running clinical trials.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective and efficient workload completion.
- Registered Nurse (Child) with current NMC registration.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Teaching qualification.
- Undergraduate degree in Nursing, Science, or Health-related discipline.
- Immunisation and Vaccine training.
