About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Senior DBT Therapists to join our newly established DBT-A team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) to young people and their families, working closely with our Principal DBT Therapist and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, manage, plan, and deliver care to allocated patients, maintaining professional and legal accountability.
  • Support peers, work effectively independently and as part of a team, and supervise pre-registration students.
  • Ensure adherence to the DBT model within the service, coordinating with CAMHS teams for clear transitions and supporting transitions to Adult Services.
  • Deliver highly specialised clinical psychology services to young people and their families, managing caseloads and providing specialist supervision, consultation, and training to team members.
  • Contribute to the team's clinical work and be accountable to the CAMHS Strategic Clinical Lead for London.
Requirements
  • Qualification in a core profession with associated professional registrations.
  • Post-qualification training in clinical supervision of trainees.
  • DBT Trained or extensive equivalent experience of working within the model in an outpatient setting.
  • Consolidated experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across various care settings.
  • Experience working with a wide variety of client groups, including young people with complex trauma and disordered eating.
