Job Summary

The Franchise Business Development Manager is a critical role in Immersive Gamebox's expansion plans. This position will oversee the recruitment process, lead contract negotiations, and manage the development of each franchisee group as they join and grow within the franchise system.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development: Achieve growth expectations by signing new development agreements and ensuring franchisee groups perform and continue to develop.
  • Discovery and Onboarding: Lead the discovery phase of potential franchisees and oversee the new venue opening (NVO) process.
  • Operational Performance: Coach franchisees to deliver operational excellence, meeting or exceeding venue KPIs, adhering to brand standards, and working within branded frameworks.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships and influence strong business operations of each franchisee group.
  • Franchise System Development: Own and lead the development and maintenance of the Franchise System, working cross-functionally to provide relevant information, materials, touchpoints, and ways of working with the franchise community.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated success in a similar role, achieving/overachieving targets for signed new business.
  • Experience in closing deals and working with medium to large-sized, multi-unit franchisee groups across international markets.
  • Experience negotiating development agreements within international markets, working closely with lawyers and local regulations.
  • Proven track record successfully managing the on-going operation and development of franchise networks within the leisure or hospitality sectors.
  • Experience in analyzing operational performance and achieving results through influence and coaching.
