About the Role

The Senior Performance Advisor will be responsible for providing expert technical advice and guidance on performance assessment and analysis. You will work closely with senior colleagues to identify business intelligence questions and provide high-quality performance conversations. Your expertise will be essential in building the understanding of our performance and impact, and in taking steps to improve performance using evidence, data, and intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement complex analytical techniques to provide high-quality analysis and advice to senior leaders.
  • Provide strategic performance management advice to support the development of new mechanisms to assess impact and measure performance.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects and gather insights to inform business decisions.
  • Support strategic reporting at the corporate level and provide performance management information to strengthen accountability across the organization.
  • Develop 'self-serve' capabilities to enable data access by colleagues.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent by experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and expert knowledge in relevant professional area.
  • Significant experience in delivering high-quality, complex interpretation and analysis of data that impacts on strategic decision making.
  • Extensive experience of carrying out complex projects that have made tangible improvements.
  • Knowledge of governance requirements around quantitative and qualitative research methodology.
  • Experience of leading teams within a matrix-management approach.
