Job Title: Nursery Nurse
We are seeking a skilled and caring Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery, providing high-quality care for our young children, and working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care and attention to children aged 0-5, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
- Work closely with the team to develop and implement engaging activities, lesson plans, and educational programs that promote learning and development.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, communicating effectively and maintaining confidentiality.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe, healthy, and hygienic environment, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications, such as an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Framework and ability to apply it in practice.
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or similar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
