About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our Application Support team at Coventry Building Society. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our product teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to product teams to resolve complex production incidents
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Support the delivery of IT projects and initiatives
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of systems management procedures in a large commercial and mission-critical environment
  • Familiarity with the ITIL based service management framework and change control, release procedures and tools
  • Ability to demonstrate capacity planning, performance tuning and proactive monitoring of solutions
  • Proactive approach with a desire to develop and improve processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
