Project Scheduler Technician

**Job Title:** Project Scheduler Technician
We are looking for a highly skilled Project Scheduler Technician to join our team in West Cumbria. The successful candidate will create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using best practice and benchmarking data.
- Ensure all activities are logic linked and aligned with project deliverables, execution plan, and contracting strategy.
- Identify and explain variances between current schedule, plan, earned value, and forecasts.
- Work with the project team to identify resources and man hours required to complete project activities.
- Prepare project reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
**Requirements:
- Proficient in MS Office suite of software, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Preferrable knowledge in Primavera P6 and ability to learn new software as required.
- Knowledge of project management techniques, including critical path method, progress measurement, and earned value technique.
- Preferrable experience in project planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and solid report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work well with clients and stakeholders, build and maintain good working relationships.
