Head of International Financial Planning & Analysis

A challenging role combining detailed analysis and broader level insight, ideal for a senior financial leader.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of International Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team in the London office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting, analysing and explaining Marsh & McLennan's international financial performance. This will involve providing financial consulting and strategic support to senior management, including timely and insightful analyses of key projects.

In this role, you will partner with Corporate and Global Finance teams to ensure international performance is well understood. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing robust KPIs to drive business decisions.

Your expertise will be essential in presenting and explaining financial results at management meetings, including in-depth analysis of revenue walk versus prior year. You will also have the opportunity to champion finance transformation and prepare board presentations, financial models and other projects as required by senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management
  • Analyse and explain Marsh & McLennan's international financial performance
  • Partner with Corporate and Global Finance teams to ensure international performance is well understood
  • Develop and implement robust KPIs to drive business decisions
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Full accounting qualifications (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Significant post-qualification experience in financial services, preferably insurance broking firm
  • Experience of presenting financial results and forecasts to senior executives
  • Financial analysis skills to a high level
  • Finance change and transformation process management expertise and experience
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship building skills
