Role Overview

ComplyAdvantage, the global leader in AI-driven financial crime risk data and detection technology, seeks a seasoned Director of Financial Planning to lead its Financial Strategy team.

You will be responsible for overseeing the forecasting and reporting processes, driving strategic analysis, and communicating insights to improve business performance.

  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
  • Lead the financial reporting processes, including variance analysis, management reporting, and Board reporting
  • Deliver strategic insights to enhance business performance
  • Drive technical excellence in complex financial models and analysis
  • Manage and develop a high-performing Financial Strategy team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
  • Review and take responsibility for the work of Financial Strategy team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present insights and analysis to lead internal meetings
  • Prepare and draft Board and investor presentations
  • Evaluate and support corporate finance events, such as fundraises and acquisitions
  • Enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to boost efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

For this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in Financial Strategy or FP&A
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with strong academic credentials
  • Expert modelling and financial analysis skills with strong attention to detail
  • Prior experience managing and developing junior team members
  • Analytical fluency with a strategic mindset and the ability to think independently and drive change
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting
  • Expertise in Excel / Sheets and PowerPoint / Slides
  • Ability to extract and combine data from various systems
  • Prior experience in a SaaS / technology company is desired but not essential
