We are seeking an experienced Regional Safety Advisor to provide expert support to operations on all safety-related matters. Based in the East of England, you will work alongside other RSAs to ensure Marston's conducts its operations in a safe and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advisory support to Area Operations Managers, General Managers, and Pub Partners on safety and related matters, including food safety, health and safety, licensing, and incident/crisis management.
  • Liaise with enforcement authorities, such as Environmental Health Officers, to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Share best practices and promote positive safety management at Area and Regional meetings.
  • Support and coach pubs that receive a Food Hygiene Rating of less than 5, working with the EHO, AOM, GM, or Operator to achieve a satisfactory re-rating inspection.
  • Investigate high-risk RIDDOR reportable incidents, liaising with enforcement officers and investigating insurance claims as directed by the Director of Safety.
  • Carry out investigations into multiple food poisoning allegations, working with enforcement officers as directed by the Head of Technical Services - Food & Drink.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in multi-site catering or retail.
  • Commercial outlook and understanding of current business challenges in the industry.
  • Ability to influence at all levels, both informally and in formal environments.
  • Flexibility to travel, with a full driving license.
