Job Title: Director of Operations Home Based

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious fraud expert to lead the investigation of serious fraud, bribery, and corruption against NHS funds. As the Director of Operations Home Based, you will be responsible for leading the National Investigation Service and the NHSCFA Fraud Hub, providing support and guidance to the NHS counter fraud community.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the criminal investigation of complex fraud, bribery, and corruption matters affecting the NHS at a national level.
  • Manage the National Investigation Service fraud investigation teams, financial investigation resource, and the Digital Forensics Unit.
  • Ensure that the NHSCFA conducts all criminal investigations within all appropriate legislative and statutory requirements.
  • Provide real-time support to the counter fraud community operating in the NHS and enable access to specialist counter fraud expertise and guidance.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience of senior leadership of a counter fraud function and capability.
  • Highly experienced in providing strategic leadership of stratified stakeholder relationship management functions within a complex/national environment.
  • Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist or member of the Government Counter Fraud Profession or equivalent significant specialist experience within a comparable organisation.
  • Educated to Degree Level (Level 5 or higher) in a Criminal Justice or related discipline and/or with equivalent specialist experience within a comparable organisation.
