Precision Measurement Engineer

We're seeking a Precision Measurement Engineer to join our ICS Mechanical team at BAE Systems. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing and supervising high-level calibration and repair of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE), as well as developing and implementing calibration procedures and protocols.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your expertise in precision mechanical metrology and calibration to support the calibration of critical equipment. We're offering a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including a pension scheme, annual leave incentive, and share incentives.
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience in precision mechanical metrology laboratory environments.
- Understanding of quality systems and standards (ISO 17025 / ISO 9001).
- Relevant academic qualifications (STEM Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent).

The calibration department supports 30,000 pieces of equipment per year, ranging from traditional analogue equipment to state-of-the-art digital systems. We offer relocation support packages across all submarines roles, subject to eligibility criteria.
