Job Title: Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Health Care.

This part-time role will involve working 16 hours per week, supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs in a specialist residential service.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to assessments, scoring, and reporting to support the development of individual care plans.
  • Work closely with the Qualified Psychologist to develop and implement clinical formulations and care plans for psychological treatment.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate individual and group programmes to support the psychological care of patients.
  • Assist with administration, audit, research, and service development to improve the quality of care.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent.
  • BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited.
  • Preferably experienced in healthcare and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role.
  • Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team.
