Job Overview
This position plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of plant floor equipment. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, calibrating, and adjusting devices as necessary to maintain equipment performance. Additionally, this role involves sorting calls and breakdowns, expediting their completion, and providing information to maintenance mechanics to resolve breakdown situations.
Responsibilities
- Being the primary point of contact for the BaSE department during sorting operations.
- Leading a team of engineers to achieve operational excellence.
- Taking PLC backups and utilizing PLC software for troubleshooting.
- Responding to internal customer inquiries and facility alarms.
- Troubleshooting complex problems and performing preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- Proficiency in S7 software, including Tia Portal, Proneta, Primary setup tool, and Simatic manager.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or international equivalent.
- Programming experience, including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams.
