Job Overview

This role involves troubleshooting, calibrating, and adjusting plant floor devices to ensure optimal performance of plant floor equipment. The Automation Developer Specialist works closely with maintenance mechanics to provide information on how to complete required repairs to resolve breakdown situations.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a salary based on experience and qualifications, ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum. Job Description

This position is responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting and calibrating plant floor devices.
  • Providing information to maintenance mechanics on how to complete required repairs.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in S7 software, including Tia Portal, Proneta, Primary setup tool, and Simatic manager.
  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering (preferred).
  • Programming experience, including troubleshooting, network basics, motor control theory, and operation (preferred).
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
