Drainage Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Carrington West. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of drainage and infrastructure schemes from concept to detailed design.
Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental sustainability. You will work closely with our project teams to develop and agree design fundamentals, manage and supervise schemes of varying size, and assist less experienced members of staff with technical problems.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading project teams in the development of drainage and infrastructure schemes
- Developing and agreeing design fundamentals with other project team members
- Managing and supervising schemes of varying size
- Assisting less experienced members of staff with technical problems
- Representing the company at meetings and liaising with external project team members
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in civil engineering, preferably with a degree in the field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in drainage and infrastructure design. You should have experience with S38, S278, S104, S106, and S185 agreements, flood risk assessments, and drainage strategies. Additionally, you should be familiar with SuDS features and have experience with highway and private development infrastructure schemes.
