We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trainee Plant/Civils Operative to join our team at Hargreaves Industrial Services.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Hargreaves Industrial Services Division in various contracts, including materials handling movements and minor civils works.
- Undertake training to operate Telehandler to load lorries with treated waste.
- Stock out waste into windrows and maintain windrows or in to barn storage.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards of work areas and plant.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks on mobile plant.
- Log product movements.
- Perform additional tasks as trained and competent.
- General labour duties as assigned by the on-site plant operator or supervisor.
- Good understanding of site safety standards.
- Comply and understand all site golden rules, safety instructions, and procedures.
- Undertake site-specific training as required.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Strong team player.
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
- Good time-keeping and willingness to work overtime as necessary.
- Good communication skills.
