About the Role:

We are recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Gillingham. This fulfilling opportunity requires someone who can provide personalized support to pupils facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges, while maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop effective strategies for supporting students with SEND
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group work to enhance pupil engagement and motivation
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents/carers and other professionals
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills
