Job Title: Health and Safety Compliance Manager

Shorterm Group is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety programs that align with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a Health and Safety Manual that outlines company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Generate analytical reports to track safety data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain fire safety policies and procedures, and conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure safety compliance.
  • Coordinate field service engineer activities and ensure statutory documentation is up-to-date.
  • Conduct customer safety visits and develop action plans to address any safety concerns.
  • Emphasize prevention through regular equipment maintenance and employee training.
  • Present safety principles in staff meetings or lecture-type training sessions.
  • Participate in ongoing education to stay updated on health and safety protocols and techniques.
  • Develop safety plans with suggestions for infrastructure and process improvements.
  • Share safety information, suggestions, and observations with project leadership to maintain consistency in safety standards.
  • Work towards and achieve company health and safety goals.
  • Travel between company offices and customer sites, with travel and accommodation covered.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification in occupational safety and health.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of Safety, Health & Welfare.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Excel.
