Nursery Support Specialist

Long Term Futures Ltd is currently collaborating with a mainstream primary school in Kingston to fill an Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Assistant role starting in September 2024.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified individual with Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification to support students with their learning development in a classroom environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education to make a real difference in the lives of young students.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young children, supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and setting up engaging environments that stimulate learning. They must be able to provide references and hold an up-to-date enhanced DBS.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Nursery and Reception students with their learning development.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers to deliver effective lessons.

- Support students with SEN on a one-to-one basis and facilitate small group interventions.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with young children in a nursery setting.
- A Level 3 Early Years, Childcare or relevant qualification is essential.
- Experience supporting children with SEN.
- An up-to-date enhanced DBS.
- A bubbly, passionate personality and genuine interest in student support.
Salary: £95-£105 per annum, depending on experience.
