Londinium Recruitment is seeking an experienced Bid and Tender Writer to join our client's commercial team. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and producing full proposal responses for various projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in bid writing, excellent written communication and design presentation skills, and experience working with InDesign software. They will also be well-versed in managing the entire bid-process from notification of project through to completion of PQQs, ITTs, and interview presentations.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • PQQ & ITT Tender Submission: Coordinating with the Business Development Director and Marketing to choose PQQs/ITTs to apply for, scheduling out enquiries and input from the construction team, and preparing high-quality technical responses.
  • Client Database Management: Building a portfolio of policies, information, and responses to help deliver quality bids, collating information on PQQs/ITTs submitted, won, lost, and evaluating their effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the main contractor's business and the ability to work effectively with the commercial team. They will also be well-versed in managing the entire bid-process from notification of project through to completion of PQQs, ITTs, and interview presentations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the main contractor's business and the ability to work effectively with the commercial team.
  • Excellent written communication and design presentation skills, with the ability to produce high-quality technical responses.
  • Previous experience of using Adobe InDesign software and managing the entire bid-process from start to finish.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £52,000-£68,000 per annum, depending on experience.
