We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at Nexgen Group, a leading provider of cleaning and grounds maintenance services to the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Mop floors with wet or damp mops to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Hover carpeted areas to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Empty waste bins or similar receptacles and transport waste material to designated collection points.
  • Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
  • Replenish consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels (if contractual).
  • Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks (if contractual).
  • Clean communal kitchen areas (if contractual).

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in cleaning or a related field.
  • Full UK driving license.
