Job Title: Automatic Door Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automatic Door Technician to join our team at Professional Technical Ltd. As an Automatic Door Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automatic doors, including sliding doors, swinging doors, and revolving doors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining automatic doors to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty door components, including electrical and mechanical parts.
  • Conducting fault finding and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues with automatic doors.
  • Identifying opportunities to upgrade or replace existing door systems with more efficient and cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with EN 16005 and BS 7036 guidelines and standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working on automatic door systems.
  • A valid EN16005 or BS7036 certificate.
  • Electrical and mechanical experience.
  • A driving license.
  • A CSCS Card.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £35,000, with the potential to earn £50,000+ in overtime.

  • Callout rates x1.5 and x2 with additional amounts paid for night work.
