Imperial College London, a world-renowned institution for research and teaching in the natural and physical sciences, medicine, engineering, and business, is seeking outstanding researchers and educators to join as visiting academics through the Provost's Visiting Professor Programme.
The Programme aims to broaden Imperial's reach by developing new relationships with exceptional individuals and their organisations, thereby improving the diversity of our community. We are particularly interested in candidates from underrepresented groups, such as Black and Minority Ethnic and female scholars.
As a Visiting Professor, you will participate in Imperial by appointment in a host department, contributing to the community through scholarship, teaching, and programming aligned with your research. You will also have the opportunity to engage with students and staff across Imperial, sharing your expertise and experiences.
We are looking for candidates with an international reputation and expertise in their field of research, who have a sustained track record in research and have made distinctive and impactful contributions to their field. You will need to provide evidence of contributions to the development and performance of colleagues through coaching and mentoring.
The Provost's Visiting Professors will be visible to the community through lectures and seminars, and will actively engage students and staff across Imperial. A full list of responsibilities and essential requirements can be seen in the attached Job Description.
