About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload aircraft and helicopters, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Coordinate and process passengers and cargo, utilizing logistical IT systems to optimize operations.
  • Drive specialist vehicles to load freight for transport, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Work alongside multiple government agencies to provide support to humanitarian operations worldwide.

Training and Development

As an apprentice in the RAF, you will receive comprehensive training to develop your skills and knowledge in aviation ground operations. You will work closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience and develop your problem-solving skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a good understanding of IT systems. You will also need to be confident, organized, and able to work well under pressure.
