Job Title: Apprentice Fabric Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Fabric Engineer to join our team at Staffline Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve production issues to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Liaise with the Maintenance Manager to ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct planned machine and equipment maintenance to improve site efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with a skilled cross-functional maintenance team.
  • Diagnose faults and take corrective action to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and performance metrics.
  • Support project implementation and new machinery installation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Current experience or qualification in a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in the overhaul, repair, and modification of manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Proactive approach and right-first-time attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills:
  • 18th edition certification.
  • Experience in the food industry.
  • Accreditation in Food Hygiene equivalent to level 2.
