Teaching Assistant - SEN

We are working with a client school in Yeovil, seeking Teaching Assistants to join their team. The school is an SEN School catering for pupils from Early Years/EYFS through to College.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher with their lessons
  • Work alongside a team of support staff in class
  • May be required to work on a 1-1 basis

Requirements:

  • Personal, professional or voluntary experience working with individuals that have special needs or mental health difficulties
  • Resilient and confident working with challenging behaviour
  • Calm, empathetic and adaptable
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
