About the Role

This position is part of our ScraperAPI team, one of our growing brands at saas.

ScraperAPI is a fast-growing, tech-forward company specialising in web scraping and data collection. Our powerful API allows businesses to gather data from websites at scale, bypassing roadblocks like IP blocks, CAPTCHAs, and rate limitations.

We're seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will be the first point of contact with potential customers. Your goal will be to creatively generate leads and qualify prospects who can benefit from our web scraping solution.

In this position, you'll have the freedom to experiment with fresh, inventive ideas to maximise lead generation. It's an opportunity to build your skills and develop into an Account Executive within six months, with a clear pathway for growth and hands-on support to help you get there.

Your Immediate Impact
  • After a successful onboarding and solid performance in the first 6 months, you'll have a good chance to get promoted to be an Account Executive.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation:

Use various channels such as outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to identify and connect with potential customers.

Prospect Qualification:

Audit and qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine their fit and readiness for a product demo or sales call.

CRM Management:

Keep accurate, up-to-date records of interactions in our CRM, ensuring the sales pipeline is clean and organised.

Collaboration:

Work closely with Account Executives to transition qualified leads, providing context and insights to aid in closing deals with the intention of moving into a closing role in your first 6 months.

Market Research:

Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to improve outreach strategies and better target prospects.

Performance Tracking:

Meet or exceed weekly and monthly metrics for outreach, conversions, and qualified leads passed to the sales team.

RequirementsExperience:

1-2 years in a similar role, ideally in SaaS, tech, or B2B sales.

Sales-Oriented Mindset:

Strong understanding of the sales process, with a goal-driven attitude and the resilience to handle rejections.

Tech-Savvy:

Comfortable using CRMs (like HubSpot, Salesforce), outreach tools, and data-driven sales methodologies.

Interest in Data and Technology:

Knowledge of web scraping, APIs, or data solutions is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
