Dunbar Education is seeking an experienced Nursery Assistant to join our team in Wolverhampton.

The successful candidate will have a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education and proven experience working in a nursery or similar early years setting. They must also hold a current DBS check on the Update Service.

We are offering a competitive salary of £20,000-£25,000 per annum, depending on experience, for a full-time position with term-time-only hours.

About the Role:

The Nursery Assistant will play a key role in creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. They will help deliver a range of fun and stimulating activities, both indoors and outdoors, tailored to the needs and interests of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development.Provide high-quality care, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all children.Develop strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members.Follow safeguarding guidelines and ensure the well-being of all children in your care.Adapt activities to suit the individual needs of the children and maintain a proactive and organized approach.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Proven experience working in a nursery or similar early years setting.
  • Safeguarding: A current DBS check on the Update Service.
