Northampton Business Directory is seeking a skilled Senior Test and Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal efficiency and safety in all operational practices while delivering high-quality testing services to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the HV Test facility, ensuring adherence to the Safety Management System and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the development, validation, and verification testing (DVP) team to meet project Technical Requirements and de-risk engineering decisions.
  • Generate, maintain, and execute Test Procedure documentation, ensuring high-quality data and appropriate metrics for testing.
  • Own the End-of-Line testing process, including requirements identification and implementation.
  • Support the Powertrain Build Manager in HV assembly and testing standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience in building HV systems/components within an OEM, Tier 1 supplier, engineering consultancy, or motorsport environment.
  • Proven ability in managing, scheduling, budgeting, and resourcing significant engineering tasks or projects.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
