About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Roofing Designer to join our team at Humres, a market-leading specialist subcontractor. As a Senior Roofing Designer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality roofing design solutions for medium to large-sized contracts across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and design objectives.
  • Develop detailed roofing plans, including material specifications, layout drawings, and installation instructions.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and efficient roofing designs.
  • Stay current on industry trends, building codes, and best practices for roofing design.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and project teams.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing roof conditions and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements.
Requirements
  • Desired: Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in roofing design and construction.
  • Proficiency in CAD/ Revit /Inventor / Sketchup software and other design tools.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
