We are seeking an experienced English teacher to join our specialist provision supporting young people aged 11-16 with social and emotional difficulties, anxiety disorders, and mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching to students, focusing on increasing academic and vocational qualifications and knowledge.
  • Develop independent living skills to equip young people for further education, training, or work.
  • Work with students who may present with challenging behaviors.
Requirements
  • PGCE, QTS, QTLS teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training.
  • Ability to teach from Entry level 2 & 3, Functional Skills Level 1 & 2, and GCSEs in English and one other subject up to GCSE Level.
Desirable Qualities
  • Experience working in a school environment, ideally in specialist education.
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Good teaching and communication skills.
