Skilled Electrical Technician

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Velocity Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and be able to work with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs on electrical equipment, ensuring that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are adhered to for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices.
The estimated salary for this role is £50,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on electrical equipment.
- Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are adhered to for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices.
- Support Manager and Supervisor to ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised and comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes.
- Update logbooks, shift hand-over, and the client's reporting regularly and accurately.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Electrical qualifications from a recognised institution (NVQ/C&Gs).
- Comprehensive electrical experience, undertaking reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
- Ability to work to own initiative and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
