Occupational Health Practitioner Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Health Practitioner to join our Human Resources Team. As an Occupational Health Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in promoting and supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational health surveillance, health screening, and health promotion advice and guidance to employees.
  • Work closely with the Human Resources and Health and Safety teams to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support employees by carrying out pre-employment reviews for new starters and providing health support and health promotion advice.
  • Lead and/or participate in groups that support the promotion of Health and Wellbeing of staff, including Mental Health First Aiders.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a medical role and holding an Occupational Health position outside of a hospital environment.
  • Recognised Occupational Health qualification and registration as a nurse or nurse practitioner.
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths or willingness to work towards.
