Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Eclipse Hotels Group, a leading international family-owned hotel group based in West London, is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join their team at Holiday Inn Bristol Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all work adheres to Health and Safety legislation.
  • Provide training for the Maintenance Team and ensure they have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties effectively.
  • Oversee all work, whether performed by the in-house team or external contractors, to ensure high-quality repairs and maintenance are carried out efficiently.
  • Manage, support, and guide team members to improve performance standards and follow hotel security and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure that all Maintenance/Hotel Health & Safety records are up to date in collaboration with the Hotel General Manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workshop and manage hotel inventory securely, including tools, supplies, and equipment, as well as plant, equipment, and building maintenance.
  • Adhere to department budget, controlling costs and overheads with a focus on energy management, preventative maintenance, and capital planning.
  • Support the hotel by providing transportation to the local airport for guests (Airport hotels only).

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of electrical work, plumbing, hot water, experience with HVAC, boilers, painting, and tiling is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and a hands-on, proactive approach are essential.
  • Ideal candidates will be qualified electricians with good team player skills and the ability to take ownership of tasks and workload.
  • Experience in offering exceptional customer service is also required.
  • Understanding of team management and the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
